The Corporate Strategy and Business Development function was newly setup to assist in realizing the company’s vision and pushing the strategy.
 
The overall team focuses on three core areas:

1. Strategic initiatives

2. Business development

3. Investments

The strategic initiatives team focuses on identifying and implementing strategic opportunities that create additional value for the company. These include one-off as well as recurring projects such as the five-year business plan, performance management system, etc.

The business development team is responsible for identifying and executing investment opportunities that generate attractive rates of return. These investment opportunities can be real estate related as well as strategic opportunities that can add value to the company’s core business.

The investment team has been managing the company’s equity portfolio for years and focuses mainly on listed equities in the GCC. The team proactively manages the portfolio to ensure investment returns consistently exceed the respective benchmark.
